| Scope |
Scope Includes but is not limited to the following:
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is issuing this RFP for individuals or organizations who are qualified and experienced in asphalt paving.
The work consists of rehabbing an existing parking lot of approximately 114,000 SF (see map) and the following service requirements:
· Removal/disposal of concrete wheel stops (10 best given over to Owner Rep.)
· Milling the perimeter of the area to be re-constructed
· Removal of base and paving to subgrade elevations
· Final grading and compaction of subgrade prior to base placement
· Deliver, spread and process (8.0") cement treated (pugmill) base compacted in place
· Application of prime coat to prepared base
· Paving with (2") type - DJ hot-mix asphalt compacted in place
· Approximately two rows (going north and south) paint striping parking spaces in this scope. Marked yellow on map. Vendor will field verify linear ft of marking.
· NO addition/Re-set of concrete wheel stops in this scope
· Final clean-up of work areas
· Any deviations will need to be approved by owner
OTHER INFORMATION:
· Cost Estimate: Over $100,000
· Construction Schedule (Anticipated):
o Start Date: No earlier than; 06-08-2022
o Substantial Completion Date: To Be Determined
SUBCONTRACTORS - ALL:
· HCS is requesting that ALL Pricing be submitted by NOON the Day of the Bid.
